I have not written a journal in a long time, but it is about time that I do now.
I would like to apologize if I have not responded to any of your messages. I am sorry, and I do appreciate the kind messages.
Thank you to everyone who has watched me, as well as commented, featured, or fav'd my artwork.
I have been way too caught up with parts of my life that should not be stressful. All of the stress has caused me to end up having this huge art block. I'm trying to overcome it, but it's not easy. I will make a comeback at some point.

I've grown very busy with college. Although, the last two weeks, we have had random classes canceled due to the snowy weather. ...That means, I have been stuck inside for quite a little while.

It kind of sucks because I have felt very little art inspiration. ...And I have a college art assignment that I should be getting done, but I'm not...yet. Sighhh.
(But, I have started! That counts for something, right? )

So despite being stuck in, I have had a few things else to do. Other than obvious homework, when I get time, I really enjoy looking at other people's art here on DA.
Well, I came across this one deviation that really inspired me. I love when I get that sudden moment because... Well, it's inspiring.

I think these shoes are one of the coolest things I've seen on DA.
I really like Edward Scissorhands and Johnny Depp's characters anyway, but the details he put into the shoes are what makes them awesome. With ..paint.
I also reaaaaally want to try making my own. So, the next chance that I get free time, I am definitely finding a way. I think I might make several pairs featuring different characters that I love... Right now I'm thinking of making a pair with Jack Sparrow ...and possibly the Joker. I plan on wearing them, definitely.
So, I am totally going out to buy some good paint for it, and also a good pair of shoes. ...that I can either ruin, or make a masterpiece on. Woooo!

Another thing I have to say is, I joined a pretty awesome group a little while ago. It is a fairly new group, but we have a LOT of very impressive artwork already. I also really enjoy looking at all the submissions there. There are so many works featuring different movies! I'd really love if you would check it out!


...And last, but not least... I would like to thank my watchers.
Everyone who favs and enjoys my work really inspire me to keep going as an artist. I love showing people what I can accomplish and create. So, thank you everyone!

Well, I like never do journal entries... and I kind of feel bad about not doing so. I'd like to get an input from everyone out there.

I have a month break off from college, so I will take this month to my advantage as much as possible. I need some new ideas for drawings and such, but I am very picky when it comes to photos to draw. I will stay strictly on portraits right now for practice, but I was curious what you guys would like to see.

I am looking more towards colorful photos to draw from right now just for the experience.
Kind of like my Joker/Mad Hatter drawings.
So, any ideas?
I kind of thought about doing a Sweeney Todd drawing like with the same style as my last two drawings. I haven't decided yet. I figure I have too much Johnny Depp stuff in my gallery already, but I haven't drawn any Sweeney Todd related things yet!

Any certain person that you'd like to see drawn?
I'd love to see your response, and I'm curious to see what everyone comes up with!
