Toothless Plushie by xnicoley Toothless Plushie by xnicoley
Here's my newest crocheted plushie! Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon :D

He was a lot of fun to make. :aww:
I didn't use a pattern and pretty much created pieces on my own as I went along.

I've been working on and off on this for about 3 weeks now. I was totally lost when I tried to make the wings, so I put them off for quite a while, haha. Finally I got an idea for the wings, so I just went with it. I have learned when I have an idea, it's best to do something right away rather than letting my inspiration subside. :XD: This is what I came up with, and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I could have put a lot more time into it, but I was growing tired of working on it for so long, :XD:
Anyway, I hope you like the little night fury! :D

Hey! Is there any way you could make one for me to buy from you? Or if you don't have enough time, or would just rather not do it, could I maybe have a pattern? :) He's adorable!! :)

Sorry for the late response.
When I crochet, I kind of make it all up as I go along really, haha
I just use the knowledge I have in my brain from previous things I've made.
I should have written down a pattern for the plushie as I made it. I am so new to crocheting, I don't know if I could actually construct a pattern that made any sense. :XD: I did write down a few notes, though.

I can't follow patterns really. Simple ones I usually can, but any more additions than basic things and I get totally lost... which is probably why I just make up my own pattern in my head as I go along.

A lot of people like my little Toothless though so later on I might try to work something up. :) It wouldn't be exactly the same as the one shown here, but I'm sure it'd get pretty close.

Haha, it's actually crocheted. :)
I can't knit. :XD: Crochet seems a lot easier for me, so maybe it's something you could try :)
I didn't use any patterns or anything, so I kind of made it up as I went along. I kind of wrote down a few notes on paper.. and I kept some mental notes. xD There was a lot of work. There were also many pieces put into it, so I don't think I'd ever be able to make an identical plushie that matches this one. xD
