Here's another self portrait!
This painting has taken a lot of time to complete. I worked around 3-4 weeks. I wanted to include some more detail, expression, and depth. I enjoyed painting plaid and the grain of the wood, I thought it was interesting creating mini paintings for the background. I had a lot of new painting experiences with this one!
